Thirty years ago, this mining company was incorporated in Mexico for the purpose of being a major, future producer of several types of minerals for the fast expanding future international marketplace. Starting in the year of 2000, LDM expanded its capabilities, first in Chile with iron ore exploration, new machinery and large purchases of major amounts of raw material for the future steel producing expanding markets of major countries starting with China and India. Recently in the last five years, the company increased its graphic reach to the West Coast of Mexico. It now has success with being a full service, efficient mining and exploration operations of various mining concession which also now permits the combination of exporting both fines and lumps with Grades of 60% to 70%. LDM soon considers the goal of having the logistical and mining operations efficiently being able to export more than Two and a Half million metric tons per year as a very realistic and achievable goal because of LDM’s past successful experience and trained staff who are using advanced technology, to mine, crush and efficiently load large volumes of iron ore. It is important to know that LDM already owns or controls about 20 Billion of proven assets and reserves in both Chile and Mexico. These mining sites are close to deep water loading ports. Adding to this dynamic equation is the fact that LDM is very price competitive with constant SGS inspections to maintain quality for each customer. This industrial advantage could soon lead to International acceptance of LDM the best mining operation anywhere in the world.
